    Contacting IVI

    Hi there,

Can you please advise... is there anything like the HFEA Website that will tell me of what the best and most successful IVF Clinics (for Donor Egg) is in Spain???

Also, how long in advance of transfer will IVI clinics tell you about the details of the donors. I know all donors are anonymous however, do they tell you things like hair/eye colour, height, skin colour prior to starting tx??

How are you meant to contact IVI clinics? I cannot see any telephone numbers on the website...

Do all IVI clinics have the same standards? Or are some better than others?

Have any of you been to Ceram or IM Barcelona? Is there anyone that could tell me in which way IVI are better than IM Barcelona or Ceram...

Thank you in advance, it is so difficult to make a decision when you do not know where to actually look for success rates for the clinics abroad.

    Contacting IVI

    Hi eggtastic..
there is no such thing as summary for succes for all clinic in Spain. You´ll have to go through the webpages individually and see the success rates.
    This site http://www.ivi.es/en/home.aspx
The results are here http://www.ivi.net/en/aboutIVI/resultados-clinicos.aspx.. There is 59% success for eggdonor at 1th try..84% at 2nd...and 94% at 3rd.

As far as I know, they try to find a donor that looks like you..or the most close to you...as to waiting time, I have no idea.
I don´t know the other two clinics you are talking about...normally, there are just some clinics that are well know and have really good reputation...like IVI or dexeus in Barcelona..

    Hope this can help you..

If my experience can help you to choose: we went to the small clinic thinking that with less patients we´ll have a better treatment..but hell no...so after failed IVF and with no other options offered by the doctors at that clinic...we moved... to IVI in Madrid. The clinic es well know..doing lots of research, using treatments that other clinics dind´t even heard about..

Here is the contact details for IVI in BCN..
