Known sperm donor process

Hello, I am starting a fertility treatment in a couple of months time with a known sperm donor, I am finding quite difficult to gather information from the clinic, so I would like to know if someone could tell me overall what the donor should expect when donating: number of appointments, when and what they happen...

My donor lives abroad and we will have to flight him into the UK for his donations, so I wanted to explain him in advance briefly what he would expect, so if anyone has had a similar experience, I would be grateful to hear your stories. Thanks in advance.
